The Occupational Health & Safety and Training Officer will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

To contribute to the ongoing growth, profitability and market reputation of Irrigation Tasmania Pty Ltd by:
 Management of Risk in the workplace;
 Safety Training and Induction;
 Safety Performance Monitoring;
 Management of training programmes
 Improved safety and productivity
 Timely reporting of Job Safety Analysis
 Development of Work Method Statements;
 Prevention of serious incidents, accidents or near-misses
 Monitoring of emergency Procedures

 Conduct audit of existing OHS procedures and implement changes;
 Develop a comprehensive OHS manual
 Maintain training records for all staff
 Developing a reporting system for accidents and incidents;
 Organising training in conjunction with the Workshop manager.
