Advantages of the Pivot & Linear (Low Pressure) Systems

Low pressure systems are energy-saving and can reduce pumping costs by 30-40%.  Saves water due to less wind drift, evaporation and over-application.  Uniform application conserves water, prevents leaching of nutrients, salinity buildup, water logging and runoff.   Large irrigation areas with little work requirements.  And can incorporate chemical application (chemigation).
